    ALL 2016 eSWIM Rotto Squad swimmers successfully completed the 2016 Rottnest Channel Swim

The eSWIM Rotto Training Squad swimmers will have access to 3* interesting and varied training sessions per week over 16 weeks for a total of 48 pool sessions.

e15 Monday 5.30am - 7.00am
e15 Wednesday 7.00pm- 8.30pm
e15 Saturday 6.00am - 8.00am

The program commences Wednesday 18 October and runs through to Wednesday 21 February 2018, with a Christmas break from Thursday 21 December - Monday 1 January inclusive. Please refer to the Training Calendar for a comprehensive training session listing.


All sessions will be held at Perth's leading aquatic facility, HBF Stadium, Stephenson Ave, Mt Claremont.


The training program will be divided into 4 x 4 week phases with each phase building towards race preparedness on Saturday 24 February. The coaches will be tailoring each session to accommodate all standards and whilst swimmers will feel that they are pushing themselves to improve they will not be pushed beyond their physical and mental capabilities. We care about the health of our swimmers!!

Ocean Swims

Key events such as the 10km trial event for solos will be factored into the training program and advice given on which open water events to include in your schedule for maximum benefit.

Lockey will also be taking weekly ocean swim sessions throughout January to help swimmers acclimatise to the colder water and get them used to a variety of ocean conditions. Details to follow closer to the time. All swimmers are encouraged to have at least one ocean or river swim per week for at least 6 weeks prior to the event.
